What’s the rule? 30 minutes from last strike before return to play. I think the rule is pretty subjective. When we were in our car leaving it was lightning all around us and by the time we got to the HWY 25&12 intersection they were back playing.(It definitely had not been 30 minutes)

It's 30 minutes for a lightning strike within 5 miles.

You saw a lot of lighting, but the strike wasn't necessarily within five miles.

They can look at lightning data and see how close it is. Hell I have it on my phone and it tells me lightning was detected within 5 miles of me.
