He's got his wormy *** at the podium at media days right now demanding that something be done to stop rogue agents.

[Yes, I know he's right and it needs to be said. I just hate that bastard].

He is right but unless the NCAA and NFL comes to a agreement it is going to be tuff to stop.

would the reaction be the same if it were Ole Miss, MSU, and Kentucky lumped in with South Carolina instead of it being Florida and Alabama lumped in with South Carolina.

We can't play to those hypotheticals, but I would guess the reaction wouldn't be quite as strong if Florida and Bama weren't so prominent in the spotlight. I agree with Saban on this though, hard as it is to say. The NCAA should ban agents, team representatives, etc. from any contact with prospects. No helping them in any fashion with getting information on players unless they decide to put in a rule that states agents who have improper contact with student athletes should lose their license for a year.

You do that and you won't have nearly as many agents risking it.

All three of us would be on probation and have to forfeit wins. I guess that would make the Egg Bowl a tie.

If you guys don't think he's protecting the "little guys" in this conference too, you're just not paying attention. He knows that the only long-term way to protect the "big guys" is to protect the entire conference.
