Great another top 10 team on the schedule... I guess Ohio State already had a game scheduled

Two things will determine how far the Griffins go.

1. How well the QB plays.
2. How well the defensive backs play.

When they won in 2006 they had two,6'3" cornerbacks (Mau, Grossheider). Who would jus sit back and bait QB's.

How many kids were at LWE in 2006? I'm just wondering, I don't know off the top of my head when the schools split.

Has the district decided which school to close yet?

East should be even better (scary to think about, sorry Bones) once they absorb the new student body.

Guerin... If you think it will be that North closes and East will just add the North kids to their squad, that would be mistaken. More than likely, half of East (Mokena) will go to Central. This will be a wash for East, since the North kids are good, but it will be a boon for Central if they add the Mokena kids. Central will lose Manhattan to West, yet Manhattan generally does not put out too many good athletes...

If that happens the head coaching carousel in that district could interesting this winter.

Decision is supposed to be reached at the school board meeting on the 13th, unless something radically changed one of the schools is closing.
Lots of different scenarios being discussed about which one though.

Central is most logical but no one wants to rent that place out. I would guess it would depend on whether there is interest in North or West from someone like JJC or Governors St. Not a chance in hell they close East.
