Was as expected passed by the LW school board tonight sadly. North will finish this school year and then they will figure out which kids will go where.
I basically heard this 3-4 months ago but then the talk picked up a few months back.
Definitely feel for the kids, coaches, teachers and admins at North, gonna be a rough year this year
I felt all along North would be closed. Always felt that the location of North (South of I80 and on Harlem) did em in. I've heard several local colleges have inquired about purchase of the school.
Now what will be interesting is which kids will go where. My guess is LW East will benefit since I believe a lot of those same kids would have been at East already before the split if I'm not mistaken (plenty of East fans here who have a better knowledge).
