Glad we pulled our best hitter so lindgren could throw 2 wild pitches out of the 12 he threw. Excellent move

It's moves like that which make me question Cohen's actual managing skills. Yes, he's fiery and seems to be a good motivator, and his teams have had postseason success after mediocre regular seasons. But damn, does he make a lot of seemingly stupid in game moves. He is a chronic overmanager, and can't teach baserunning worth a ****.

Thank God we had Randolph up in the most crucial spot. That bum Collins would've messed it up*

Hold up now. Y'all said Cohen was greatest ever after we swept the last place team in the league last week.

Yeah I think we leave the personal catchers to pitchers like Greg Maddux. For the life of me I don't know how you take Collins bat out of the lineup for ANY reason. And that decision cost us tonight.

This entire thread misses out on the fact, Collins is terrible behind the plate. I've said all year, Randolph at C and Collins at DH.

This is correct, no need to have Vickerson as DH at all.

The problem is Randolph couldn't throw HD6 out on a steal attempt. It's a base-running free-for-all once someone hits first base when he is in.

Side note: anyone feel like the turf (instead of dirt and grass) is a major contributor to the number of balls hitting the backstop? It's amazing how quick pitches are getting back there (and sometimes coming all the way back).

Then when Cohen pulled Collins, why not move Collins to dh? I sure could've done without Vick batting

The last couple of time we have made the sub at c we have still had wild pitches so while randy is better im not sure its worth losing
Collins arm and bat. But we all agree there is no sense taking out collins while vickerson continues to get abs.

This. And why not at least DH Collins and platoon Walker and Randolph?

We finally get a legit DH if not catcher in Collins but we go with a slap hitting lefty and take Collins out altogether. Head scratching.
