struck out 4 in an inning tonight, second time he's done that in pro ball. Now has 30 Ks, 4 BBs, and only 1 ER in 13.1 innings across 3 levels. I smell a AA call up soon
The Yanks catchers must can't catch JL either.
In 12.1 innings, Jacob has 4 wild pitches. That's a really high number.
Kimbrel has 6 wp's this year in 44 innings pitched. This is kimbrel's wildest year to date too.
Lindgren's strikeout rate is unbelievable though. He's gonna be a great reliever, but he has to harness that slider a little better
meh, when the WP's are coming on strikeouts, you don't want to "harness" that slider. It would come at the expense of his effectiveness

He got promoted to AA today.
Rich Hill will be taking the spot in the bullpen.
It would be pretty awesome for our program (recruiting) to have him move up that fast, though.
He'd also be the first guy from the entire 2014 draft to make it to the bigs, beating out Nola, Scwarber, Burdi, and Rodon for that distinction. That'd be pretty awesome too.
Schwarber isn't even in the running on that. He's minimum this year and all of next year I suspect before it's seriously considered. Nola could probably start for the Phillies tomorrow, unless they see some benefit in continuing to trot AJ Burnett out there every fifth day.
