Not a huge surprise but disappointing none the less. Man, this has been a rough month to be a Husker fan.

9 stars, Buckeye, but who's counting? We'll be sure to say hello when they wash out of the NFL after a year.

Best of luck Tyjon Lindsey. Did you know, OhSU has 15 commits right now, 4* or better. Only 3 are from Ohio. Good to see a team with a geographical disadvantage getting it done with a great recruiting staff.

Geographical disadvantage? Look at the rosters of Michigan, Michigan St and Notre Dame and the number of Ohio players on those rosters. Then look at the number of players from Ohio in the NFL.

Plenty of talent in the area, Urb choosing to go elsewhere is not proof there isn't talent in Ohio.

OSU with 6 five star players (composite 247) so far this class, has the potential for 9

Nobody enjoys a sense of humor anymore? And people getting all touchy. People want to say it's hard to recruit to NU because we are too far removed from Florida, Texas, and California. I have big fold up map of the USA. If I fold it justtttt right, Ohio is closer to Texas and California.

You mean the school that's had more wide receivers drafted in the last 18 MONTHS than Nebraska has in the last DECADE? LMFAO!

No, you're thinking of the wrong school. I'm talking about the one whose wide receiver coach sends receivers to the league unprepared and they end up being unproductive. For reference, see coach Smith at OSU.

By the way, retread posters don't last very long around here. Our mods aren't stupid. I'll just say "see ya" now because I doubt you'll be around long.

If they were unprepared you would think that two UDFAs like Philly Brown & Jalin Marshall wouldn't make a roster.

I think "don't start a message board squabble concerning WR coaches soon after yours is jailed for a DUI" comes immediately after - "never fight a land war in asia"

If a land war is based on production, then you can talk about it any time you want. One army isn't prepared well when it takes the battlefield. One isn't. Which performs better?

Don't be dumb. They are supremely talented... Which is why they made it at all. If they were prepared at all, they would have been drafted. OSU coach cost them money for leaving them so unprepared...

Philly Brown was a RB recruited by Tressel and Marshall (a QB) left early against everyone's advice because he has a kid.

The state of Ohio has 1 five star, 12 four stars, and 21 three stars in this years class.

No surprise there on Lindsey. But...it ain't over yet McGavin. Even though we weren't featured in his top 4 on his video (stupid), he said it was really only between Nebraska and tOSU. Honestly though I really hope we beat out Urban on a recruit though. I'm already getting tired of him.

Sorry to be dense about who they are, but then what were you trying to say about Brown and Marshall?

I just assumed they were OSU receivers, but obviously wrong. So please help me understand your original point...

Wow lot of hate, maybe the Huskers should actually do something on the field before spouting off. Jealousy doesn't suit you.

Yeah, the players are doing alot of talking...err wait...you're talking about Husker FANS, on a HUSKER BOARD. "Spouting off" on one's own board is probably not the phrase you should have been looking for.

When OSU won the National Championship it was predicted that the impact it would have on recruiting wouldn't be with the 2016 class, but the 2017 class. I think that's what we're seeing now.

Right? I'm sure a dude who calls himself "super pup" actually played at Ohio St. You know actually "doing something on the field". PUHLease
