Linebacker coaching and player improvement

We had some bust as would be expected with young inexperienced guys playing as much as they did but I was very impressed with the improvement in our linebacker play specifically from Young, Weber, Newby and Gifford. That's THREE guys that had never played linebacker on saturdays and one that was a DE last year. IMO, the future looks bright with our linebacker coaching. In general other than a couple of busts by our safeties that led to back breaking plays, our defense played much better.

This has been overshadowed by our boneheaded ending but really needs to be addressed. This and the movement of MC to line up in a standup LB spot IMO really show great creativity and smart, flexible, defensive coaching.
