Time to throw Demarcus back in there.. He can't be worse than the fools we've been running out there recently

Go Frasier, Fullerton, Renfroe.

Regardless, we've got to get Frasier and Renfroe hitting in the same inning, so I like what you did there.

I think Fullerton offers the best bat of the two. I would like he and Casey hitting, period.

and let Ammirati catch.

If Casey has quit, he and Henderson are not options. I think, as robbie stated, Henderson's hand is fractured or broken. Its been wrapped.

I'd put Frost there. At least he can bunt and is a smaller strike zone. And that's pretty much where we are with this team.

Edited: Apparently Henderson is okay and played last night. Weird. I still don't know if any option is better.

I had heard that he was injured, but he did get to hit in the game. If you can call it that*

Frost has popped up at least 5 bunts this year. He might be the worst bunter on the team.

I keep seeing people suggest we rest Slaughter. There is a reason Ammirati hasn't caught much. Cohen started him the 2nd weekend of the season against Mississippi Valley and it got ugly. About the 3rd inning, Valley realized he couldn't throw anybody out and they started running all over us. They stole 3 or 4 bases in one inning and Cohen had to put Slaughter back in the next inning. Ammirati at catcher is a major liability.

Slauter has a hard time throwing out the garbage. You can't judge a kid on 3 innings in his first start back in February. He has done fine when given a chance after that and is not a liability. The Marlins saw something in him and State recruiters saw something in him so unless given a legitimate chance and not a 3 inning showcase your assessment is unfair. Cohen just does not like Ammirati for whatever reason. Slauter leads the SEC in stolen bases against, passed ball, catchers interference, and errors by a catcher but Cohen has told the team over and over if he can have any catcher in the world it would be slauter.

He does need to work on his defense. Totally agree with that.

He doesn't get enough credit for how well he handles our staff though. That's why he is out there everyday.

He's going to the Cape Cod League this summer, so I hope that is an experience that benefits him as a player like it benefited Stratton and Graveman last year.

..get Porter in Left or Right and let Ammirati DH. Unproven is better than proven at this point. Slauter has to play. He handles the staff well and he is one of few uninjured guys hitting over .200 in conference games. Bradford, for all his troubles, was our fourth best SEC hitter. Losing him hurt big time. Britton is probably a better option than Frost, and I think I put Norris at first instead of Rea. He has a better chance of working out of his slump.

Fullerton gives you nothing.
