This could be our annual WTF moment. A very good evening would be three wins. I don't see any sure wins. Peterson can win only if he's aggressive. Poz has a chance, Casale, none. Shawver, only if he regains some yesteryear. An upset at 157 would be a kick, but unlikely. Barbosa is best chance at 165. Turley, please don't choose down in third unless you're up by more than two. Will Goodale be making a statement at 184 by who goes out tonight?
Our annual WTF moments are when we got upset huge at some point or blow dual somehow… last one I can remember was when match came down to 97 and hwt and we lost both as big fav… and we had that one year we coulda beaten a down year Ohio state but blew it….
We will be a decided underdog against Ohio state.. any upset would be a holy ****! Moment.. we haven’t had one of those in so long…when was last time.. Deluca pinning #5 Hayes?? Need more of them..
I think that disappointing match you’re referring to was when we needed one win with Poz and Bulsak due up and both lost to lesser appointments. Was infuriating.
Also deluca didn’t pin Hayes. He was down by like 7 or something with a minute left and hit two lateral drops to pull off the last second upset. Was our only win on the day I believe.
I went back and looked. We lost 29-11. Suriano won by TF and Lewis won by D.
That OSU match at home was brutal. We gave it away when OSU had key guys out. I don’t remember our last good upset.. maybe Nebraska like 10 years ago?
