I see some shots fired when reading about us. I also don't get the Ole Miss being the 2nd best team in the conference, maybe better quote.

The anonymous coaches were definitely just the OM coaching staff for their report... "Don't be surprised if we...ughh I mean Ole Miss wins their division. I say, I say, Hugh, I about messed that one up ole boy!".

Yeah, i'm sure all that crap is from head coaches and not assistants.
Obviously, head coaches, whether it be Mullen or Freeze, will just give some two-bit reporter from Athlon a bunch of potentially damaging statements, whether they are disparaging or complementary of opponents. Sounds legit to me.
