Then Steve Soucie of the Kankakee Daily Journal joins the show. Steve is the IHSA bracketologist as he studies and projects playoff teams and match ups throughout the season.
First Brian and Steve talk about Bradley-Bourbonnais' rise and season thus far as well as the root of Bishop Mac's struggles, and Herscher and Wilmington being undefeated.
Then Steve gets IN DEPTH with the process as to how he calculates his projections, including...
-How he first got interested and started doing this.
-How the change from 6 classes to 8 effected his process
-What effects his projections, week in and week out.
-The Multiplier
-What a strike in the Public League would mean for the playoffs.
-What are some patterns and projections for 6A, 7A, and 8A.
-Games in the last 3 weeks that could effect things.
-Just how stacked 8A is this year
