Atlanta had that big of an inferiority complex with the saints and New Orleans in general. What the hell would atlanta do if the big easy had MLB?

Reading a Falcon fan's take on the Saints = reading a State fan's take on ole miss. I didn't think it was a terribly complex notion.

Truthful and well written... unlike this article by Ashley Fox http://es.pn/GEQnA4which did infuriate many Saints fans like myself. She's aclueless troll, but I guess ESPN is more concerned with getting page views...

she was 100% right on this one. I know a lot of Saints fans are pissed off, but if you're pissed at that article you're looking in the wrong place.

Do us a favor, get James Earl Jones to record it. His voice helps us to understand ****.

I would read your article about the New Orleans Saints, but from what I've gathered from other replies it's rather unimpressive. Also, I doubt that you are equipped to tackle (see what I did there?) an NFL story, especially one regarding the Saints, since one of your posts yesterday suggested that Carl Nicks was "likely gone" from New Orleans. No moron, he has signed a new contract with a rival team, and that means he is definitely gone. Of course, maybe he will return to New Orleans for the first divisional match-up of the year, and in the middle of the game, tear off his new jersey to reveal a Saints jersey, pro wrestling style. Is that what you're holding out for? I mean, I guess it could happen. Thanks for your take on the hottest story in the NFL though. The world needed to know what you thought.

Normally I tell people thanks for reading, even if they're diametrically opposed to my opinion. In this case, thanks for blathering?

and that all the good Sean Payton did for New Orleans was ruined. That's utterly absurd.<div>
</div><div>She also says it took courage and major intestinal fortitude for Goodell to "paralyze" the Saints... wrong. The NFL's legal battles made it a pretty easy decision to hammer a team. The Saints picked the wrong time to be arrogant and get caught.</div><div>
</div><div>And then there's this:</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px; ">"With his ruling, Goodell effectively ensured defensive players never again will collect money to financially reward teammates for intentionally hurting opposing players."</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px; ">
</span></div><div>That's the most naive thing about this entire media field day. There's no way this ends players making chump change side bets over big hits. Like the war on drugs, this will not change what people do, it will only change the way they do it.</div>

I would want to read. I tried for a paragraph or two but then I started scanning and then thought what the hell after reading:

1. "cultural Plebians of 404 suburbia simply can't grasp this wonderment"
2. "the pastiche of their cultures"
3. "residing in more homogenous, gentrified areas"
4. "ubiquitous, downright vanilla philosophy"
5. "acrimony on top of a fan base with such a hereditary disposition to isolationism and contempt"
6. "smallest of perceived sleights to brew a righteous indignation''

I don't know who your target readership is but from the sound of the article its more of the "sweater tied around the neck crowd" and you've been around here enough to know there aren't many of those on The Pack.

Your incoherent ramblings would be much less enjoyable if you understood the great mystery that is NFL free agency. On another note, you and your ilk at the Bleacher Report make real sports journalists like Rick Cleveland look even more impressive. Spend less time using the "find synonym" function in Microsoft Word and more time doing research on your stories and maybe we'll make a real writer out of you yet.
