LIVE Play-by-PLAY Update Tonight, East Duplin @ SWO

Both teams have the ability to hang one on ya, or hold their own against each other. Being a South West fan of course I expect the Stallions to prevail. ED supporters have a case to believe that their Panthers will do the same. I fully expect a Smash Mouth type of game with the Ground Pounders leading the way. Speed, power, size will carry the night. Depending on who gets out of the gate first will set the tone. A two score lead by either at any point could be the deciding factor. Dont think anyone will be leaving early. Over the years each has put it on each other and some have been nail biters. This may be the most even matchup in a lot of years. Good luck to ED and GOOOOOOO STALLIONS.

Some big storms coming in tonight here in MO. I have satallite internet so if it does during the game I will probably lose the signal, hope it holds off to later tonight.

Updated weather forecast has the mess from the gulf storm moving farther East of me. Still a system coming out of Kansas but not bad. My areas has been removed from the severe storm watch. Should be good to go for tonight, I Hope.

I think this is a toss-up on paper; slight edge may go to home field advantage, though home field advantage may be overrated in high school particularly rival games where visitors are sometimes as large as home field fans.

SWO has a real good record at the Corral. Funny tho is we have a lot better Play Off record AWAY. SWO used to travel real well, guess they still do. I remember having to sit on the home side at away games because the visitor side would not hold us all.

Weather wise DRY tonight, temp around 80, a little warm. Light wind so no kicking problems. Dont think there will be much passing either, but who knows. Footing should be good for the backs and ends. Hopefully ball handling wont be a problem other than getting trucked by the defense. Wish for no injuries for either team as they need everyone healthy all year.
