Comment From JohnnyJohnny] I think it was discussed at the end of last year, but is there still a focused emphasis on decreasing advertisements on the video boards, especially those that detract from the atmosphere following big plays or during key situations in the game to allow for increased use of the PA music and band? (Related: do we plan to take full advantage of the new rule that allows for music/band up until the time the center stands over the ball?) <textarea style="width: 195px;" id="et1315266568" class="code" rows="3" name="et1315266568"></textarea>

Scott Stricklin:
Johnny - Any commercials (like you might see on your TV at home) will be limited to pregame, halftime and between quarters. During timeouts that occur during the quarters, no commercials will be shown. (Though there will be some 'sponsored elements,' such as the Play of the Game presented by Brand X).
This will allow our marketing/operations staff much greater flexibility to take advantage of the ebb and flow of the game, and make for a better fan atmosphere.
Damn, I wanted a Physics of Football segment during a 4th Q TO driving the field.. . In all seriousness, I do hope it's a matter of element of timing to go along with the content placement, as you mentioned.
