For the many who have asked..Lloyd is attending Austin Peay.He is on a full scholarship and glad to be back in football after being redshirted at Trinity Valley Junior College in Texas last season.
It's sad that UK would not readmit him but Coach Stoops did all he could ,it was not an athletics thing.'
Lloyd has learned some valuable lessons and will not make the same mistakes again..To all of you that supported him ,He says THANK YOU..He still loves UK and all his ex teammates..I wish him only the best.He's a fine young man ..Godspeed Lloyd..

Well, I think you guys have pretty well covered the waterfront, my sentiments also.

It will be interesting to see how much he gives us trouble when we play, but he might be getting a lot of double teams like Peters did his last year.

I agree with the OP that he would have to be incredibly stupid to get in trouble over the same thing again after all this circumstantial he say she say situation cost him.

It cost his Mother $$$$$$$ for his Lawyer and he was set up..When he makes the NFL he can buy her a house..[winking]

Unless it's a slam dunk case this doesn't happen at other SEC schools. Look at the Jeffrey Simmons case at MSU. He was on video beating his girlfriend up but yet he is still on the team. Our guy gets booted because of an allegation.

If Stoops ever does start winning here crap like this will make him leave. This would've never happened to a UK basketball player.

He was banned by a Student Review Board.I never heard of this when I attended UK..Sounds like a kangaroo court..but I guess in this day and age they have oversight BS..

Glad he found a home and it wasn't at Otis...hope he is playing for the Packers some day.

A student review board or some thing similar existed back in 1966. I did something I should not have done and was put on probation by a student board.

FWIW, Simmons issue was a simple assault before he was on campus and, other than bad PR, posed no "threat" to MSU. Tubman's alleged actions were on campus and thus a Title IX issue that did pose a threat to the school. Title IX meant well but has to be cleaned up.

Yeah, I think they should ban all men from campus, maybe the only way to get close to zero chance of any rapes, I am pretty sure Fuzz would endorse that, can't take any chance on the University being sued. Meanwhile TU forks out a ton of money to prevent the thug culture they have fostered from getting the publicity it deserved, maybe UK should just endorse UL's approach or the U's while hurtt was there....

From all the circumstances of this case and what this he say/she say case cost him I would think he would be among the least likely to get anywhere near another rape charge. Anyone on here think he cost her her virginity? He might even have to hire an observer for any sexual activity he might think about engaging in in the future so there would be a witness, of course that might cut down on the romantic aspect of it a little bit.

Is it true that kissing can cause pregnancy?.

Glad to hear he is at APSU. I live here in Clarksville and will check in on him and see how practice is going. Little known fact but almost all their cheerleaders are from UK. Coach is a former UK cheerleader.

And it is BS to be kicked out, but not let back if found innocent. I am disappointed in UK. (Graduated Alum of both UK and EKU, just in case someone was wondering)

Thankfully, judges around the country are starting to throw out these decisions because of blatant lack of due process. It is outrageous that a university thinks it can treat a student like they have with student review boards.

You do know that Chuck Hayes issue occurred after his senior season was over...right?
Hayes was accused in May 2005, he played his last game in March 2005.

Florida might also find themselves tied up in Title IX lawsuits like our friends down in Knoxville.

If those incidents aren't alleged to have happened on UF campus, school can't get away with subverting due process as in the Tubman case. That's the rub.

Great story on the Tubman situation and his new home over on ksr... And I am not going to get started on the administration and the way that they treated this young man while he was at the University... best of luck to him and hope he kills it at APSU
