The Official-Unofficial kickoff to Diamond Dawg Baseball Season is this Saturday at 4:00. Grand Marshals Hunter Renfroe and Joe Dier will be leading this year's parade! The parade route pulls out of Rick's Café, heads West to S Washington Street then heads East on Main Street and University on to campus. Although the parade started nine years with the idea of the left field lounge trailers, rigs, and contraptions lining up and coming through downtown Starkville and the Cotton District, it has changed this year. Anyone that loves Miss State Baseball is welcome to get in the parade. Decorate a trailer, your truck, a golf cart...what ever fits your personality, and join us this Saturday. If you are getting in the parade, please get to Rick's Café at 3:00. It does not cost anything to get in, but we are asking that you bring items for the Animal Rescue League (bleach, paper towels, hard dog and cat food, news paper..etc), please bring these items to Ricks Cafe. For those you can not get in the parade, or those that are attending the MSU/UK basketball game, we hope that you will come out and show your support on the parade route.
