How many times will we hear Casey Stengal was the OM coach for one year.

At least a dozen stories on Archie playing in the College world series in .69

Many stories declaring jake gibbs a yankee great as a backup catcher.

And the media will eat it up.And they will declare ole miss has overtaken msu in baseball. It's coming.

21 Apr … Do we have something in the water at State. Rumors that softball, baseball and volleyball players don't like their coach. Are we doing a thorough background check on these coaches. Just a coincidence?
21 Apr … The most interesting thing I've heard on bulldog sports radio in awhile, was Matt Stevens saying in past years how many of the baseball players"hate" John Cohen. I've heard that rumor elsewhere for years. If true that will be interesting to watch, because something like that usually doesn't end well.

21 Apr … Phil Bryant had nothing to do with playing usm. This was Greg Byrne being Greg Byrne. Everything Bryne did was to enhance his resume to get a better job. Standing up to Polk, firing hank flick, reseating the hump and scheduling usm. He was trying to show people he was s big boy. Let's face it. Both us and tsun quit playing usm because they beat us too damn much. Wasn't a big fan of Byrne.,but it is what it is. If we can't beat usm in their current state, we have no business complaining.

18 Apr … Jim Ellis When the winning run scored in the last inning, where was our broadcaster. Of course he was in commercial, that's right, the winning play came while Ellis is running commercials. I've never seen anything like it. It's just embarrassing what Ellis has done to a once proud radio network. It's been going on for years.

17 Apr … Watching the om lsu game on tv, you see a big fat ole miss sign behind home plate, leaving no doubt where the game is being played and promoting the school. And when you watch a game from Dudy you see a big fat ugly farm bureau insurance ad behind home plate. Just really an embarrassment. Thanks Scott Stricklin for trashing our field up. Can't wait to see what you have in store for Dudy Noble next.

14 Apr … In the early eighties had s class in McCool auditorium and sat next to a baseball player in a ten o'clock class who came in high with marijuana breath at least once a week. I wasn't into the dope scene and finally told him to quit breathing that s*** on me. He was a starter but not a star player.

13 Apr … I Don't know if they are transferring. I just saw on the other board Cohen kicked off the Canadians and the players voted to bring them back. Is that true. I Don't know. But there are rumors everywhere of turmoil in the program right now. I didn't start the rumors.
