LOCKED - Is Thad the right choice?

I'm struggling with this. I'm 29 and have never missed an opportunity to vote. I voted for Thad in the last election and know he's great for Mississippi and our university. Here's my thing. I haven't heard him speak in a while but I heard McDaniel on Lars Larson last night and he caught my ear. Right now I'm leaning toward Thad but not as much as I was a couple months ago. This is a very important election to say the least and I want to make sure I cast the right vote this afternoon. Sorry for another thread but I feel like it's needed for younger voters to have another source for research. Thanks.

The only thing I really care about in MS is MSU. In that sense, yes, Thad is correct choice.

McDaniels will mean less research money for higher education. McDaniels has said everything that the far right wants to hear "I'll fight health care!" "I'll protect the 2nd amendment!" "I'll fight Common Core!", but a Jr senator from MS isn't going to get much done on any of those topics, which is why, when pressed about specific plans of action, McDaniels typically doesn't have an answer.

I wouldn't even vote for McDaniel in the general election because his whole group is beyond crazy. And I am locking this b/c I can.
