Williams-Brice sucks. Literally sucks. I have no idea how anyone could put it that high. I'd rank it 13, just in front of vandy, it's so ******.

Commonwealth is also a lot nicer than 14. It's small and simple, but it's open and very clean. I enjoyed going to UK.

Agreed based upon my experience past year. The stadium just had a really segmented feel to it. The concourse was small, and the way it's divided up you did not feel like you were in a stadium of its actual size

Its been a long time since I've been there, but unless they've rennovated, its big but not nice.

Georgia is still my favorite. It's just a beautiful stadium on the inside. I haven't been to bama lately so that may be legit. Surprised to see Florida ranked so low... I was not that impressed with it either though, honestly.

Georgia is my favorite, too. Lsu and bama are real nice. I've only seen Kyle field from the outside, but it looks very impressive. Bama is nice, but it's just big... Nothing terribly unique about it.

so for 85M you have 420 more seats than vh? damn what a value!!!!!**** seriously, i think what ya'll have done to DWS looks great. i look forward to us bowling the NEZ and eventually balancing the designs of the east and west. i want the NEZ bowled for the visual. we'll get some more seats out of it but neither ole miss nor msu need behemouths of stadiums. i think ultimately somewhere in the 65-70K range is good for both of us.

At this point, I would prefer every dollar that we spend to go towards comfort and gameday experience rather than additional capacity. The NFL model that focuses on suites, gourmet food/drinks, and comfort is what most schools should be zeroing in on these days. Let Michigan, UT, and Bama squabble over capacity.

what is going to be hilarious, om is going to go all out trying to reclaim the title of the states largest stadium since they cant stand seeing us leave them behind, sink millions into a half-assed solution, and finally unveil their master plan that will be a few thousand more than what we have. it will be built and om fans will beat their chest about a stadium that they cant fill.

then we will throw up some temporary seating in the open endzone to again reclaim the title. our upperdecks are already built...all we have to do is throw something together to reclaim that title if we wish. we have the available footprint to do it. om does not.

CWS is ranked that low because of all the aluminum bleachers of steel trestles. It sounds horrible when people walk around on it. I also believe the top sections have been condemned by the state and are not usable.

Just like the halfass field level club they are about to throw in just because we did?

i don't really know many om fans who care much about being the largest stadium in ms. i'm sure there are some. the ones i worry about are the ones who think we need to compete size wise with the big stadiums. that's nuts. we both need to be concenrating on what seinfeld said....comfort and gameday experience. 60" curved screen UHD tv's are going to be a challenge. but again.... i think what ya'll have done looks great. i don't get the field level club/suites,but everybody is doing them (us included apparently) but the pics I've seen of DWS look terrific.

ETA... i did hear we might be bringing in 500 folding chairs to the sidelines just to get back on top***

Did you miss the whole bowl discussion? You guys can't match up the endzones because you built **** right behind the North End Zone. Even the UM "master plan" has you pretty much building a permenant structure that is exactly the same size as the erector-set "temporary" bleachers there now. You guys are pretty much done expanding for many years to come. All you can do is make the NEZ prettier and add a couple hundred seats. Don't think you could even add premium seating in that area.

I bet they wind up tearing down those recently built buildings behind the Bear NEZ, so they can add more suites..

And the Hugh Freeze statue. Deserved for the unparalleled period of mediocrity he has brought to the University of Mississippi.

This is correct. The buildings that are back there now arent large and will be no problem gettign them out of the way to complete the expansion. As for too many seats, our season tickets are sold out....like, the actual season tickets, not talking about 3 game packages.

You crazy as ****. Ole Miss isn't tearing down those buildings to build a stadium they can't fill. They already have their plan out and it does not include any premium seating and pretty much just replaces what is already there plus a few more seats in the corners. Do you Ole Miss people even bother to keep up with what your administration has posted on your athletic web site?

won't be a problem getting them out of the way... hilarious. They are new buildings. The only way to get them "out of the way" is to tear them down and rebuild them somewhere else. Where? You guys aren't exactly flush with land over there.

You can't fill what you have now. ONLY 2 of your top 5 crowds have been in the last 5 years.

We have a unique college feel to our stadium that some larger buildings lack, and that post on SDS about Sanford being the oldest is incorrect. Umiss wants to expand but they need to think about their projected capacity growth before they do. If I where them, I wouldn't waste money on the current endzone club project when they want to bowl-in the other side. That is dumb. Regardless of what they do, I think we will always be able to do more with DWS.

^^THIS^^

I actually wish we didn't even have an upper deck. Just lower level, completely bowled in, with suites all the way around, and a big chunk on each side with something like the Saints Bunker Club, where they have access to air conditioned areas with tvs and better bathrooms and concessions.

I don't know about every dollar, but I'm pretty close with you. I yearn for the day when we install chairbacks with cupholders everywhere but the student section (you WILL stand!).

Meanwhile, from only the ones I've experienced, I put opposing stadiums as :
1. Williams-Bryce
2. Bryant-Denny
3. Jordan-Hare
4. Sanford (just gets so hot down in that hole)
5. Neyland (visited pre-renovation)

Exactly. Our mini-packs have games blocked out you can't buy. They're for returned or unused visitors tickets. Theirs are for any home game.

If you don't think the vast majority of UofM fans care about having the larger stadium you are a delusional, out of touch fan. Do you live in a foreign country? Seriously do you?

Ole Miss doesn't own those buildings. Look it up because I know you don't believe me.
