I got my yeti cooler ready to go into my locker. I hope who took the measurements knows how to run a tape measure, its going to be close.

The listed locker measurements are accurate but the don't take into consideration the latch and two hinges. These limit width to about 9 1/2 inches going through the door. I measured it Sunday. You might squeeze s 10 1/2 soft in but not a hard cooler over 9 1/2. Remeasure and reevaluate.

Beer in a locker seems like a lot of work for very little reward. Just buy a handle, a few bottles of wine and be done with it. Save the beer for the tailgate.

Ive seen folks smuggle beer in to games. Why? Smuggling 3 hot *** beers in a game does nothing.

Buy whiskey.

Yeti is about to come out with a $300 soft cooler. I keed you not.

Yes this thing is more of a waste of money that the hard one.$300 for the Yeti name and a drysuit zipper on the top. I have two Polar Bear soft sided coolers that I would put up against any cooler out there. I have had one for 6 years and has not shown a sign of a leak anywhere and will hold ice for longer than anyone would need it to.

I have a soft cooler with a plastic tub liner that I bought last season at Hoggly Woggly in Starkville last season. It is the perfect size for the locker and wont leak. I'm not a big whiskey fan, especially when its hot. When you start drinking at 11am and don't stop till after midnight, beer is just easier to regulate my happy place.

I've literally walked into the stadium on 2 different occasions with a full beer in a styrofoam cup. I love state.

Soft sided coolers suck cause they leak. I call mine The Weti

You're buying the wrong coolers. I have a few bag coolers that have gone years without leaking. Polar bear is the best of them. Doesn't leak or sweat and keeps ice just as long as a hard cooler as far as I can tell.

The bag cooler is just so much more convenient when you are only trying to supply one or two people with beer/alcohol.

I don't get it. The NFL sells more beer than mixed drinks at a game so why are y'all mocking someone who can bring in their own beer?

I love cold beer at a football game, but if they are smuggled in they will likely be very warm before you get around to drinking them- at least this time of year.

To me its just easier to take a bottle of bourbon.

I bought an AO Cooler (soft-sided) recently, and I love it so far. It's comparable to a Polar Bear, but it has a lifetime warranty, so I chose it over the Polar for that sole reason.

I own an AO as well. I got the backpack version. The liner is made from pool liner so its sturdy. My only complaint is that is does sweat and eventually gets wet. It's money for taking to baseball games.

At the 2000 Memphis game in the absolute oven of the Liberty Bowl, an incredibly drunk Memphis fan behind us who was a huuuuuge jackass (cussing at kids, embarrassing every Tiger fan around us, etc. etc.) had smuggled in a bunch of beer. You could bring in coolers and water to the game. Somehow he managed to pull one over on the Liberty Bowl staff.
My other favorite beer-smuggling story: back when Ole Miss played Arkansas (I think) in Jackson, my Boy Scout troop were ushers. An Ole Miss fan comes in with a 4' by 6' Confederate flag, with what had to be 12 Coors Lights rolled up in the middle next to the pole (genius!). One was poking out the top, and my scoutmaster helpfully told him "one of your silver bullets is about to come out of the chamber."

Not even if your life depended on it!

I bet you drink Bud light too...
That's just Clydesdale horse piss that has been filtered and a little alcohol added to it. Dos Equis Lagar is my choice for football and baseball too for that matter.

Night games are definetly more liquor friendly...

If you drink beer, you will be in the bathroom for half of the game..
Liquor is just quicker too...

I agree liquor is much easier but if you can take in your own cooler in the premium areas and just ice it down - you should be fine.

to use a tape mearsurer, they have bigger problems than this...
You would be surprised, 75% of the youth entering the workforce can't read a tape measure. 25% can't be taught how to either. Trust me I know!

I'm not mocking, but saying it's a pain in the *** to deal with replenishing each week, icing it down, worrying with a cooler, leaks, running out, etc. Just thinking about someone else worrying with it stresses me out.

OR you can put a handle or two in at the beginning of the year. There are even free soft drink mixers.

The good news is that if that cooler fits into your locker, you will only have to ice it down once. That yeti should keep it through November.

It'd be impossible now after 9-11 (thanks a lot bin laden), but when i was a kid in the 80's my dad would load a bag with beer and ice and stuff a blanket and diapers on top. Security would never question him bringing it in. Most of the group he sat with did the same.
