I was just mentioning to my wife while we were watching the game... not all great NFL players are great by their 2nd or 3rd year, but almost every one will show glimpses of what they can eventually be. I've just never seen it with Locker. I think he's going to be one of those lifer backup QBs once the Titans fnially decide to move on, but I agree that he's just not an NFL starter. Hell, I'm pretty confident in saying that the Titans have a backup QB in Fitz that's better than he is

Agree, especially in today's NFL. Rookies can flourish quicker than ever. Compare Locker with where Kapernick, Luck, Wilson, RGIII are. Not sure MM is a great offensive mind anyway.

I thought it was stupid as hell when he got drafted. the guy couldn't win in college but we thought he could lead the titans? WTF

just another example of what terrible leadership the titans have.

To be fair that Washington team was horrible, and it had nothing to do with Locker. If he had come out his junior year he would have gone in the top 5, possibly #1. Plenty of QB's get drafted from horrible teams. Jay Cutler is a great example. Although he's not an elite QB he's definitely worthy of a starting QB role in the NFL. Locker is not. Just the name of the drafting game though. Some guys just don't pan out... Titans fans should know better than most teams' fans.

The Titans' problem comes from wanting to start fresh and fire a top tier NFL coach but hire from in-house. If you want to blow something up, blow it up.

Don't forget Tannehill, Newton, Dalton, Bradford, and (a little older) Stafford. Hell, him and Gabbert are arguable worse - at least on the same level - than Freeman.

The Jaguars are atrocious. They might not win a game. Tebow is miles better than Gabbert.

Hey, hey, hey.. Tannehill was 24-38, 275 and a TD on Sunday. That's not terrible. (Dolphins fan, BTW).
