Q: On the ribbon scoreboard at Davis Wade Stadium, I
was curious if they were covering up the "Mississippi State University"
script on the upper deck or if they were going around it, and how it
will work on the "new" upper deck since it doesn't really have a facade
on it.

A: Stricklin again: "The boards will
cover the lettering on the west side upper deck facade. On the east
side, it will have to be attached slightly differently and be more
narrow because there isn't much facade to work with."

I just don't think putting some new flashy ribbon boards up will look ok in our old *** stadium. .. kinda like putting brand new chrome wheels on a really old car. Not necessarily anything wrong with the car ..just looks stupid with these new flashy and snazzy rims on it. Our stadium is what it is and trying to do too much to it will look pathetic.

I think they look great in our old *** stadium and I love what they bring to the game. They don't look out of place to me at all. Game stats updated all game long alone is enough for me. They're a bit flashy and bring just a touch more modern feel to things as well. Seriously, you'll like them if you get 'em.

it's such an easy way to get quick information. I wish they could have used the old jumbotron the same way they will probably use the video boards.
