have signed a big man THIS recruiting season. That being because its a legitimate possibility that we could lose both Sidney AND Moultrie after the upcoming season leaving us Lewis as the only competent inside player left on the team. Believe most everyone would agree that losing Sid after this year is a near 100% possibility and though Moultrie has yet to play for us I think he will be a senior in age and already had decent draft stock. Jurick would have been a great signee to have gotten given we missed out on O'Bryant and Adams earlier this year but I guess that's not happening. He could have bridged the gap for another year since I'm sure we will be hot and heavy after a big man or two this upcoming recruiting season (Ware and a few others).

I think the plan is still to land a big man. Problem is, no one seems to have any idea who that might be.
Jurick is only a defensive specialist and he would not see much of the court next year. Why would he sign just to ride the pine. I expect us to save the scholarship for next year, hopefully we can land a Big man in 2012. There are no quality Big men left this year, they are few and far between to begin with. We don't need another project.

We do not need to panic and waste a scholarship on a big man just for the sake of doing it. We don't need any more Rieks. I have no problem with Stansbury saving those scholarships for next year. If we have a good year and turn some heads then we should not have much trouble attracting a good big man to fill Sid and Moultrie's spots and get some immediate playing time.
