Nobody is talking about this game. Barrington is the only 1 of the 8 teams remaining in 8A I haven't seen.
Star power on offense. Below average on defense. Typical Barrington team
Havent seen Lockport in person, but looks like they started slow and have rallied since. Barrington is high powered and has been great all year. Think Barrington might run away with this one
That had a few key guys out early in the year and since they then have been playing well.
Their QB is very good in his first year starting. He's got 27 touchdowns and 5 picks along with 5 rushing TD's.
They have a sophomore tailback with an Iowa State offer that is a burner. Their left tackle is committed to Northwestern and their top wideout is a junior with offers from Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Florida etc. I think Barrington scores a lot, as usual.
⚓️If their there is a defensive task at hand, I would not count out Lockport's Coach Czart.

I said to Quags at the MS game, I know absolutely nothing about Lockport, but I can tell you they will out physical Barrington. Seems like that probably was the case.

It was fun to watch Nick Setta excel at a cross country race in the AM and then perform his kicking magic on Saturday afternoon while at Lockport. A very unusual athlete and better person.
Nick is a fantastic person, but the strength and conditioning program for football is all run through Coach Czart and staff. Coach Setta works with many other teams though.

Again, from first hand knowledge, Nick is great, but the football program exclusively is Coach Czart and staff. Volleyball, baseball, swim and other Coach Setta,

Love seeing Lockport in the mix again. I graduated in '03 and was lucky to be there during the '02 and '03 8A title years. Coach Kooi and Czart were great. Lockport's story this year has been great to watch. Hoping for the best for them. 35-0 against Barrington had me fired up while I watched my Wilmington team dominate Tri-Valley.
