Lockport & LWC

Last week their was much talk about the coaching and the turnaround for these 2 programs. It appears they are pretty much the same as in previous years. Lockport got spanked by HF 40-0 last night and LWC lost to Lockport last week and now last night to Bradley B.

It appears it’s going to be a long season for both programs. IMO it’s going to take longer to turn these programs around then people thought.

LWC is not in turn around mode. They are having bad season so far. Lockport is in turn around mode.

Too early to say Lockport has turned anything around I feel. It will take at least a season to even start to unless there is a miracle hidden in the Porter bag of tricks. Anyone at the game vs. H-F that could elaborate on progress of the LP team?

Don’t remember anyone saying that Lockport was going to be a juggernaut this year, but that they were going to go in the right direction.
After 0-9 last year if they can win 3-4 games that would be progress.
LWC is another story.

Bwm57 agreed but the comparison last week about coaching decisions made by District 210 regarding LWC by theOutfit were a little over the top. Coach Czart is more than capable of turning the corner for LP but they have a long way to go to compete with the Brook, H-F, and LWE in conference alone. 8A is a juggernaut. Glad to see you took me off ignore.

I am not a believer that LP is in turn around mode. Currently 1-3 with LWE and Bolingbrook still to play. I see no difference from past years. Maybe the new coach will turn them around next year?

I said awhile ago LWC has by far the least amount talent of any of the LW schools this year....saw them at Bloomington and I feel Jeremy gets a lot out of what he has on hand....just not a lot of talent sadly this season.

Yup and Lockport barley beat them. That says a lot about both programs.

To have respect for the men who educate and coach these young men should be a priority that all us fanatics who follow HS football and utilize Tim and this incredible site is the least we should do. My personal opinion.
