100%, spend that money and energy in the portal. We need immediate help, we're not in the position to develop players; hopefully, we will be in a few years. Sign a few in state kids to keep relationships. Why are we wasting time recruiting and signing marginal out of state high school players?
With a roster size over 100 now you can take chances on players like this. If it doesn’t pan out they can just leave. Why are we wasting time recruiting and signing marginal out of state high school players?
Yeah but you actually have to sign good prospects too. With a roster size over 100 now you can take chances on players like this. If it doesn’t pan out they can just leave.

Our luck if he went somewhere else, we would be the team taking him out of the portal.100%, spend that money and energy in the portal. We need immediate help, we're not in the position to develop players; hopefully, we will be in a few years. Sign a few in state kids to keep relationships.
Because they’re hard and/or have been wronged in some way.Why are players always posing with their mouth open like they are at the dentist?
You have to have someone to practice against. Lebby’s first year he didn’t have enough players on the rosterfor a quality scout team. Why are we wasting time recruiting and signing marginal out of state high school players?
Because he’s actually going to a dentist. He’s a new dentist. His name is Crentist. Why are players always posing with their mouth open like they are at the dentist?
I haven’t looked at out of state signees but in state kids we’ve signed since 2020 we’re at about a 10% hit rate. We’ve signed so many in state kids the past 5 years that were complete whiffs and waste of scholarships. Our evaluations have been ***.Why are we wasting time recruiting and signing marginal out of state high school players?
Yeah, I think it's probably a combination of poor evaluations and the fact that we've been signing a lot more on the lower end of the 3* spectrum. Back in the day, it wasn't uncommon for an SEC school to sign a half dozen or so 2* players, but it's almost like those don't exist anymore, and everyone that isn't a top prospect is now a 3*. Therefore, you've now got 3* kids ranging anywhere from barely missing the 4* cut to not being able to crack the starting lineup at Troy.I haven’t looked at out of state signees but in state kids we’ve signed since 2020 we’re at about a 10% hit rate. I also did the same exercise for OM and they have a much higher hit rate on in State kids, closer to 70%.

I agree with this but I swear if you told me to pick the Mississippi kids out of last year's starting line ups.....I couldn't have picked a one other than KT.
