That gets the Billy Gillispie blocking a free throw “At Least You Tried” but end up looking stupid award.

Zeke at center, snaps the ball, gets trucked. Dak throws high, WR immediately gets smoked. I bet it looked better when Mike McCarthy drew it up.

A fitting end, considering what Dallas did with there last two possessions. Doesn't bother me, it was just bad.

Dak probably cost himself a ton of money in that game. To only give up 19 to San Fran an elite QB has to win that game. Dak is a good not great QB I think that’s pretty much proven at this point. Dallas has some serious decisions to make. You pay Dak 45 mill a year you can’t sign all your other stars and gotta hope he can carry a team. I don’t think he can do that.

Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, he already signed his extension and will be making around $45 million each of the next 2 years. The Cowboys won’t be able to reasonably cut him until after the 2024 season.

He wasn't going to be throwing the ball 80 yards in the air for a hail mary, so about all they had hope of was a bunch of laterals and hope for the best. that got shut down real quick. Go Niner's.

If they had thrown the ball to someone other than Lamb once in a while during the game they wouldn't have been in that position.

Yeah clearly the concept was much better thant the result. The play call was actually pretty creative. They were going to run a pitch and lateral to either side, whichever Dak chose and had three lineman each way set up as a wall to lead Dak after he receive the pitch back. You can see Dak take off as soon as he threw it headed towards the WR, it just got blown up by the DB before the WR could even pitch it back. Different but not terrible idea since you couldnt hail mary it that far.

Would have been better off, maybe, had the 49ers not been able to call time out and discuss what they were seeing.

Oh I remember that one. Incredibly stupid, but it was only week 6, and there wasn’t a clear “this is your last chance scenario.” In this recent case, you just worked your *** off the whole season and your last chance is THAT play.

I mean I get the idea of giving your line a free release to try and spring somebody or some sort of hook and ladder but why throw it to that guy. Just ridiculous

They had no shot as soon as they overturned that play as incomplete which would have put them at mid-field and at least given them a shot at a hail mary.

Dallas underperforms every single year. Dak isn't the guy.
