it was way out of the zone. CT is our best contact hitter. He sees more pitches than anyone else on the team. Still, he had no chance to make contact on that high and outside pitch. The catcher called for it up and away even on a 3-1 count as if they knew what we were about to do. Our hit and runs have become so predictable its stupid. That was a bad decision. Let CT work the count and he draws a walk there... that was solely Cohen putting him in a position where he couldn't succeed.
And I'm a Cohen supporter, still, that was a very poor decision.
Vandy has been trying to give this game away since the 7th inning. I've never seen a team other than us try to give a game away they way the Dores are. Yet we still can't win. We have made many poor decisions in this game. Both as players not swinging the bat on borderline pitches and coaches running us out of multiple innings.
