I do actually feel kind of bad for these folks. Imagine you are SO scared of your daughter knowing what Gay/Lesbian means, that moving to Russia seemed like a good idea. And you lived in Texas... wow, just wow. It's a shame that someone didn't tell these folks that this MIGHT be a bad idea.
I know this is politically incorrect, but I don't know that I've ever met a gay woman or really a man either that actually struck the fear of God into me. I'm sure they are out there, I've just never run into them. Now this dude has been drafted and is going into a war and his family doesn't even know what's going on with him. That's a damn shame.
That fear game is something else for sure. I think it's fair to say the Republicans do a better job of stoking that fear in their supporters, but it's not like Democrats don't do it as well. All those scary brown people coming across the boarder, woke culture, the war on Christmas, Christianity, or whatever the flavor of the month is. And let's not forget Trump destroying America every day from the left.

Honestly, Trump taking over for Biden changed absolutely NOTHING for me, just like Biden taking over for Trump. My day to day life doesn't really change b/c of who is in the White House.
Obviously, that's not true for everyone... Case in point, 6 months after Trump takes office, this family is sweating it out in Mother Russia, trying to keep their daughters safe from the scary woke Dems at the low low price of the Dad joining the Russian Army and moving into a war zone.
