jeez.. It's like he gets more out of shape as the season going on.

And he's got 2 or 3 turnovers so far.

but he is garbage otherwise. He can't get any lift and is missing lay-ups. No question he is out of shape. What a waste of talent.

Where would this team be without Moultrie?

But it still pisses me off to see him stand on the block and watch the PG drive to the basket and him not take ONE step to contest a fricking layup.

Lazy SOB.

necessarily a great player, but you have to admit that he is a serviceable player at the position with sparks of being good. Now that we have a multitude of good to great players I believe it serves to improve Sidneys play.

If you know we are up by 30, why would you want to risk stopping the clock with the strong probability of a foul and a possible 3 point play?

Keep the clock running, our offense is clicking. No big deal on their drive.

He's got the potential to be one of the best players in the country, but he's a lazy punk with an attitude. He's not even out of shape. He's just lazy with an attitude. He's gotten better though in his defense, since last year.

how can he not be in decent shape just by default?? they practice daily, lift weights a lot, do cardio, etc. He can't make it up and down the court more then 3 times without being gassed (and it's not just "lazy"--he was gasping for air on more than one occasion today)--he is a huge guy and all, but I have seen lots of big boys carrying around a good bit of junk be able to get up and down the court. They really need to look into what's up with it, because it looks like it's more than just "out of shape".

Early last year that was sending him to the bench with foul trouble. He's worth more to us offensively than it's worth to contest every point guard and maybe cost them two or three points a game ( in free throws they miss, cause they'll get the foul call).

OUT OF SHAPE!!

He could lose 50 lbs. and still have enough blubber to keep a whale oil salesman in bidness thru the winter.

The RSS just needs to grow up some more. I really think Moultrie playing as good as he has will push the RSS to play better. We saw a glimpse of this yesterday. Yes, he is out of shape, and a Little lazy, but he has to be on the floor and continue to improve and the sky is the limit or him and our team this year.. I think we can win the SEC this year..

I'm talking about being in proper defensive position. He had ample opportunity to do that on that particular play. Instead, he just stood there and watched the opponent make a layup.

I hope I'm wrong, I believe Sid's improvement he showed yesterday had everything to do with Troy's lack of any post game, opposed to him growing up and "getting it."

Well, Sidney is our weakest starter. Even if he scores 30, he hurts us almost just as much. We have to play 4 on 5 half the time because he can't get down the floor.

to great player is because of attitude, work ethics, and laziness. I agree with you he has the potential to be a good to great player, but with his issues all he is now is a serviceable player.

We will likely be in the top 15 this week and Sidney just played his best game of the year and we have threads on here bitching about our center and a game we lost a month ago.

because if he would just put out the effort he is capable of, this team would be unstoppable. But given after 3 years in the program we have seen all we are going to see out of this guy. He is serviceable, but not even close to what he could be. That's what pisses me off, wasted talent and opportunity. He is not suddenly going to get in shape, not even by tournament time. That opportunity is long past. If he was going to get in shape, he would be in shape. It ain't gonna happen.

I know I've said this on here several times, but watch the guy in warm ups, he doesn't. He just stands around while everybody else gets ready. I think the only explanation is he has a screw loose. I wish it wasn't that way, but it is and it's not going to change.
