Yes, we are peaking at the right now, but I hope you don't have any delusions about the CWS or something - there are some damn good teams out there that we'd have to beat twice (probably at home) to do that. We have a good team that has the potential to be a national contender next year. After last year's run and losing the seniors, my expectations were to just make a regional. We've achieved that. Anything else is gravy. Injuries hampered us, sure, but like I said, anything past a regional is gravy to me. We can easily get beat by whatever 3 seed we're going to be playing, remember that. <div>

up to and including Florida State. So we have to find 1 more win somewhere. If we catch a break, heck yeah we can get to Omaha and possibly make some noise.

This is the type of team that wins tournaments.

Nobody is going to be saying Fire Cohen after this season.

Obviously the odds are against us, but we do have a chance to make the CWS. We even have a chance to win it. Predicting that we won't is a pretty safe bet; but it's not a totally safe bet.

We've just finished beating two "damn good teams," one twice and the other four out of five times. I'd say we have a "damn good team," too. And of course we "can easily get beat" by a three seed. But don't come crowin' if it happens, because everybody knows that already anyway.

What you totally miss here is that we are a "national contender" right now. Next year is another story.
