Anyone making the trip? Ive been to Brian Dennehy stadium twice to see MSU play. State is 2-0 in those games.

Might be time for the hat trick....

You've not been since the last expansion, then... if you've access to tickets, you should definitely go... nice digs, great environment on GameDay...

No ive been to multiple other games there, just not verse msu.

It is the nicest stadium (symmetrically) in the country but still the second loudest in the state.

The atmosphere will be similar to 1999

Speaking of craptastic hot dogs. Maybe it is no longer the case, but back in the day they served hot dogs with sauerkrat and red sauce. Just terrible in my opinion. My last visit was 01...I think.

Anyway, I imagine this year will be very similar to 1999. I was there. Just a fantastic tailgate, well played exciting game but the ending wasn't as fun as 97. At the tailgate that year, another young State fan had a cowbell. The Bama fans would hide it from him. I would tell him where to find it. Good food and drinks too. Then in the stadium I had good seats in the lower section, about the 25 yard line. Bama fan behind me was obsessed with the Dog Pound Rock. He keep talking about it. Then whenever Bama made a play in the game, he mockingly attempted the DPR. It was a sight. My other visits there haven't been as eventful as 1999.

My first game there was in 1983. John Bond's last year. The stadium was just the lower bowl. Hard to imagine that is the same place.

I, too, was there in 1999. I can remember as the teams came out, thinking, "We will never win this game" (and we were 8-0 and they had Mike DuBose as their coach!). That "This is Alabama Football" pump up video was pretty intimidating. Also, Shaun Alexander & Chris Samuels were pretty impressive too.

I will be going with 2 others. Should be fun. I'm excited it is a late game, plenty of time to enjoy the tailgates
