I think we finally break the streak of 1130am games after Bulldog Bash. The matchups that week are LSU @ MSU, Ark @ UF, Ole Miss @ Aub, UGA @ UT, UK @ USC, Mizzou @ Vandy, and Georgia St @ Bama. Bama/GSU will probably be PPV, and Mizzou/Vandy has SEC Network written all over it. That leaves 5 games to be divvied up between CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and FSN. If Auburn somehow beats LSU this week, or Ole Miss pulls off an upset over Bama next week, I could see CBS picking that game. With our luck, ESPNU or FSN will pick our game and put it on at noon.....

I always thought the U reserved that noon slot for B1G/ACC matchups. It's either going to be SECN or 7pm on the U.

LSU @ MSU = great @ below avg. (decent rivalry)
Ark @ UF = below avg. @ TBD but likely a bit better than average (some rivalry)
Ole Miss @ Auburn = good @ average (some rivalry)
UGA @ UT = great @ below avg. (good rivalry)
UK @ USC = bad @ good (not much of rivalry)

Based on this, I think CBS/ESPN will pick up OM @ AU and UGA @ UT. Then ESPN2 will get Ark @ UF. Then ESPNU get LSU @ MSU.

Decent Rivalry?????? You have to be kidding. The last twenty years Mississippi State has won only one time. 1-19. We are more like the homecoming opponent for Baton Rouge.

if things get worse, the game will be on ESPN3 or even PPV

You forgot this...

You forgot this...

Sept. 28
Ole Miss (3-0) at Alabama (3-0)
Texas A&M at Arkansas
Florida at Kentucky
LSU at Georgia

Oct. 5
Arkansas at Florida
Ole Miss at Auburn
Georgia at Tennessee
Kentucky at South Carolina
LSU at Mississippi State
Missouri at Vanderbilt

Oct. 12
Alabama at Kentucky
South Carolina at Arkansas
Florida at LSU
Missouri at Georgia
Texas A&M at Ole Miss

A lot will depend on how LSU plays against Georgia. I'd imagine that LSU would want to play UF at night.
