I'll be really impressed for the first person who says "I'm a bookie" OR "I use XXX as my bookie"

At the risk of being sued for libel, I will just state it like this:

There is a business owner in Grand Island who is the biggest bookie in the state, and he has cohorts in Lincoln.

From a pure local economics perspective better a local bookie than a Vegas or offshore online bookie.

Hard to consider it criminal anymore when government sponsors a freaking gambling operation (lotto).

Looking for one in Lincoln, tired of using 5Dimes
So on your first post after 5 years on the board you are asking for people to publicly give you the name/phone number of a bookie? Maybe place an ad on Craigslist looking for a bookie? Not like the cops ever cruise Craigslist busting the advertised hookers on there.

I would tell you the name of a Lincoln bookie not to use but I would end up shot with busted kneecaps. My buddy and I used to stupidly bet a few hundred bucks a few on s game that we really couldn't afford to lose back in our college days. One week we put like $500 a piece on the same game on like a Thursday. He called me like basically at kick-off to tell me the line moved from like -6 to -7.5 and that's the new line our bets would be under. We still won our bets but he made a comment to me like...I wouldn't want to be you if you lose on the new line and don't pay. That was my last bookie bet in Lincoln.

I used to post here during the Pelini era. I was banned after about a week. Tried posting on r/lincoln but no response. Came here and saw there is now a free message board.

A pm instead of posting public would work as well.

Find someone online to play in Vegas for you.

Why don't you do what everyone else does and go into the local hole in the wall and find the old white guy sitting at the bar eating peanuts.
Why does he have to be White? This offends me. Damn racism.

When you locate your bookie I have some advice for you. Determine how much money you are willing to risk for the year.

Pick your BEST game in the third week that you LOVE. Put all of your money on the opposite team and thank me later.

Take your cash and run.

If you are looking to give money away, (you are looking for a bookie, so you are) I'm not in Lincoln but I will gladly relieve you of some that money that seems to be burdening you so....Smokin

What a crap bookie. You get the line at the time of your bet. Even the bookie in the dorm my FR year adhered to that policy.
