I will admit that I do cheer for USM from time to time mainly because I'm from Hattiesburg. I won't say all of their 11 fans are bad as I'm friends with a few that tend to be realistic, but the rest are purely entertaining just because of how delusional and insecure they are. So every now and then I'll go to some of their boards just to see what their fans are saying whether it's about their team or their thoughts on State/OM. I found this gem with a few others like it.
First and foremost what makes this funny is that Eagelpost is supposed to be so heavily moderated that there should be no discussions about State/OM on their main boards and if anyone wants to discuss them they must do so in one of their sub forums. The mods must've swallowed arsenic because there's 7 topics relating to both schools on the main page.
But overall, the comments in these threads range from reliving the glory days of USM "dominance" that nobody remembers to how Mullen is just "itching" to leave Starkville. This gem is probably my favorite so far as it classifies as being completely removed reality:
