If you're planning to build anything or purchase a new vehicle (among many other things) in the coming months, I'd highly recommend attempting to lock in prices today.

Probably wouldn't hurt to fill up your gas tank either.

Plenty more sixpackers more knowledgeable on the subject than me, but I do know many components come from Canada and (especially) Mexico for cars assembled here.

Mexico will be hurt by tariffs for sure. But the good thing is they don't have the suffocating regulations that US companies deal with.

Effective 3/1. They'll go back and forth. Nothing substantial will happen. He will beat his chest, republicans will suck an orange dick, and democrats will say he got played.
