Atleast for the first nine minutes....Don't expect them to keep up this pace though. 19-8 Bama. 11:32 1st half.

It is truely a case of one team being hot and the other not. Bama has buried some threes. UK had a few in which "the iron was unkind". Most all contested shots for Bama. Wide *** open for UK.

edit to add: This is an assessment of the first 8 minutes I watched will eating lunch. What has transpired after that....is not commented on in this post.

I saw Kentucky throwing sloppy passes, not getting back on D and taking ill-advised shots. And then there are others who see it as "that's basketball."

There are no less than 3 red jerseys rebounding under the goal when UK shoots. UK has 3 offensive rebounds to Bama's 13 defensive rebounds. Bama also has 7 offensive rebounds. This is limiting UK's second chance points which is where they have killed people this year.

UK is known for being a poor 3-point shooting team. Maybe Bama's strategy is to let them shoot the 3's and focus on the inside. Overall, UK has a better FG% than Bama so far as well. So I wouldnt say that one team is hot and the other is not.

Kentucky is murdering them in man to man. Also I know its not surprising but Nessler's constant fellating of John Wall is nauseating. Earlier he compared an nice pass from Wall to Daniel Orton as resembling Stockton to Malone.

And now Bama is back in the zone..its about time.
