this is 17ing ********. I know we've sucked but it's hard to believe he'd go freeze his *** off when he can drive 3 hours, play in the SEC, and be coached by a well-known offensive, QB coach.

Not to mention they already have the #9 rated QB committed.

Just 17.

If we can get at least one decent QB out of this class along with a transfer type like Newton, we should be ok. If we can't get either one of these, we do suck.

he'll end up at West Virginia. I think we'll eventually join UT and State and throw our name in the hat if we haven't already. With 3 offers from schools all in the SEC and much closer than West Virginia, there's no way he ends up a Mountaineer...so says Pat White.

I agree - I don't think he ends up there at the end of the day.

They struggled last year with the coaching change and it's hard to imagine them getting much better without Pat White. Far away from home, a coach that could be on the hot seat with a bad year, freezing cold and it's waaaaayyyy early to be calling folks locked down in their commitments. Really curious as to what caused him to want to pull the trigger so early - I can't say I've heard people really speak all the glowingly about the campus and town either.
