Matt Jones literally started on this message board, made a website, then started a radio show. He’s not some super connected born millionaire that was handed a show. That’s why people say “Well you go ahead and do it then”. If you’re so passionate about radio shows that you want to trash people doing it then either you do better or stop listening. But literally being angry at the guy and hurling insults absolutely sounds like someone is jealous, I mean what else does it sound like?

Exactly. I simply don't get why people hate the guy? It’s like hating Mickey Mouse, it's weird, just don't listen. It’s not like he’s the president of the United States and he's on every channel.
It’s just so weird to hate a guy that worked his *** off to create a radio show for our entertainment.

This. There were years and years when Jones was shamelessly kissing Cal’s *** to get close access to him. And then when he finally gets some balls and goes off reservation just a little bit Cal freezes him out.
Which is absurd. When you sign the richest contract extension in the history of the sport near worth nearly $100 million dollars, being able to accept media scrutiny when things go awry is supposed to be part of the deal. Apparently Cal thinks he should be entitled to all the money without any of the scrutiny.

Yea Marc was a con man. I was ripped off from a “lifetime” membership but I can admit it. I loved TBK, but hated Marc. When your mods are even telling you you’re an ******* half the time I mean…
But there has never been and probably never will be a UK site that had the inside scoop like TBK. It wasn’t just Kentucky either. The time he received word that Harrison Barnes wasn’t going to Duke but to UNC was pretty wild. Coach K and Duke were so sure they had him they set up a video feed of the team watching his commitment. Marc said something happened late and he flipped. He announced for UNC and K looked like an idiot.
When you know something K doesn’t then I’d assume you’re legit.

The thing about left and right that I've observed is, the hate each side has for the other has gone to another level the last few years. It's been growing actually. So, when a left even starts to talk about their stance, the right immediately gets agitated and vice versa. It’s one of many reasons why I don't even get into it.
As far as the bait and false information, well, KSR is designed to give us fans the latest news on UK sports, that's what he does and I really don't care where he gets it from. I don't care that he doesn't give credit to whomever he got the news from, I just care that I know what it is.
I just like the show because it is based on something I care about. Now, if they would just come out with one that would be based on early Ford Broncos, 2nd gen Broncos and old and modern engines, I'd be happy as a clam.
honestly, I don't know what I am. Sometimes, I agree with both sides on certain things, sometimes I like the left's idea, sometimes the right, but that's just when it’s jammed down my throat and I have no choice but to pay attention.

He's pretty much the only person in the state with a platform warning BBN that Mitch has to get fully on board with NIL (and his personal feelings on it don't matter) or it's going to hurt football recruiting.

Last thing I saw with them was they helped donate around 900,000 to the flood relief in Eastern Kentucky a couple weeks ago I believe. I think he is doing NIL of some sort just not sure how much.
I personally don't know the in's, out's, and overall rules of NIL, and not sure Matt does either. His argument might be that he doesn't work for the athletic dept. and is already involved in several other ventures (morning show, ESPN gig, pre and postgame shows, helping to run a wrestling promotion, a restaurant, and an event space in Lex) to fully lead that charge. IMO, it's on the AD to explain, promote, and lead the way through these new waters we're in, and Mitch continues to dip his toenail in while telling us what he thinks the law of the land should be.
Louisville's new AD pretty much said they're open for business and would be asking local businesses for money. Their collective, Flyville or something, is hooking up football recruits left and right. If they actually come and play for Satt is another story, but our rivals have gone all in and it feels like Mitch is terrified of some NCAA response that isn't coming.
