I saw that. Bracky already suspended Humphrey for his freshman and sophomore years.

No, Bracky only wants to suspend him his freshman and sophomore years if he goes to Bama. If he comes here then he will tack on his junior and half his senior year. If he comes here and declares for the NFL draft after his junior year then he will try to suspend him for the first 5 games of the NFL season too.

Fwiw Dak has become a big cog in the recruiting wheel. S. Rawlings (and parents) were really impressed with him. His part seemed to take place in the locker room. Where he talked to them personally and showed the recruit their personal locker (with their jersey with their own name).

Which may explain the pic of the co-Lin recruit with Dak when he committed.

Believe the NCAA already addressed this with other teams and said...

So that must mean Banks is NOT a booster? 'Cause boosters can't recruit.

No foul, nothing to see here. They added "Alumni Tweets" right next to the furniture, cars, church donations, and momma jobs, into the allowed section of recruiting tactics.

Prescott is an impressive young man.

Forget the football part. People like him and are drawn to him. Message boards are full of hyperbole and out and out B.S. This isn't hyperbole. Combine the football ability w/ the leadership qualities and he becomes even more important to the program and it's growth...not just the team. The next 2 years are guaranteed to be a blast to watch.

The poor bastard has one of the worst jobs in America. Honestly, who in their right mind would want to be a compliance director for a major university. Nobody likes you.

at auburn and aTm it seems to be a cakewalk. Type up a memo to the NCAA that says 17 off, and sign it. rinse repeat. have the 17 you law firm at #1 on speed dial. The rest of your time can be spread over online poker time and various other interweb activities.

This is about as close to the way everybody else handles it as I've seen in print. Only thing I could add would be to raid NCAA compliance dept, double their pay and name them your university's compliance directors...as programs mentioned above have done.

Well the real laughable issue is that we are still using a former HS coach relic for a compliance director while the rest of the modern world is using lawyers and former NCAA compliance employees to do the job.
