Not that big of a deal but I think it is interesting since he was widely regarded as one of the Top 5 HS QB's in the countrytwo years ago, and he basically played the Vick role in the offense, and didn't throw a pass last year for LSU.
The kid has talent and in the right offense would be electric. Just goes to show you that high school QB's that don't pick a school that fits their strengths are prone to ending up transferring or at a different position.
Shepherd would be terrific in a WVU or even a MSU offense that uses the QB as a run first option. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shepherd transfer before the start of the season, especially if the move to WR sticks.</p>
