whaddayu mean, "this time"? when's the last time he missed the cut? What does he have to make excuses for? Being the best golfer EVER? I can't stand these Tiger haters. They'll be the same ones trying to impress their grandkids by telling them they got to watch Tiger in his prime. Just like the MJ (Jordan, not Jackson) haters, Aikman, Montana, etc. etc. Just enjoy watching history while you still can. These athletes don't come around all that often...why waste the little bit of time you have to enjoy them in their prime by hating on them?fishwater99 said:Wonder what his excuse will be this time?

Every kid, try one or two.. Even Phat Phil signs for almost every kid out there.. Maybe Tiger just hates kids, or he is in a hurry to get to the weight room.[b said:goindhoo[/b]]Surely you understand he can not autograph everything every kid waives in front of him.
Jack missed 4 cuts from 1962 when he turned pro through 1984- thats 4 cuts in 23 yearsDawgfan61 said:until Tiger surpasses his major total, but do one thing since your comparing the records to each other. Find out how many cuts Jack missed vs how many cuts Tiger missed at same point in their careers.
I believe Tiger has missed 4 cuts total only 2 in the majors, since 1996 not talking about when he was an amateur. That alone is damned impressive. Its tough to make cuts. It aint easy.
There goes Coach again. Spinning facts to make them appear to prove his point. You are correct in that Jack missed 4 cuts from the time he turned pro in '62 until 1984. But, be fair and compare Jack's professional record to Tiger's professional record. Tiger turned pro in August 1996. The third cut you are referring to Tiger occurred while he was an amateur (Master's 1996). The comparable stat is Jack's 4 missed cuts over 91 majors over that period to Tiger's 2 missed cuts over 49 majors thus far. That's a cut rate of 4.40% for Jack and 4.08% rate for Tiger. Tiger wins.Coach34 said:Jack missed 4 cuts from 1962 when he turned pro through 1984- thats 4 cuts in 23 yearsDawgfan61 said:until Tiger surpasses his major total, but do one thing since your comparing the records to each other. Tiger has missed 3 cuts in now his 14th year...Tiger can't miss another cut for the next 9 years if he wants to beat Jack
Now then, who is more impressive?
