Tre is the one of our freshmen that it wouldn’t surprise me if he came back because even though you could tell that all of them were disappointed, you could tell that Tre was heartbroken over the loss.

Like someone said, I think it likely means that he might not be sure what he wants to do yet which is probably why he put a ? after the words “year 2”.

Why would he post that if he’s not coming back? I really hope he’s able to improve his scoring consistently. Dude can definitely improve his stock, it’s crazy not to believe so. Him staying will definitely change us into an actual contender. I don’t believe we are one without him.

No way he puts this up and doesn’t return. That’d be a serious troll to a fan base he loves.

By the way, we predicted something like this on the podcast. ;) Will be up tomorrow or Monday AM.

Just for reference, a while ago Hurt said a team with a point guard in place would likely be his destination. No coincidence, this was around the same time we started hearing Tre may stay.

I’m putting my vote on Tre staying and Hurt committing to Duke.

RJ Hampton would make us a real contender, but not a favorite. Soph Tre puts us in favorite territory.

I don’t think RJ will reclassify if Tre stays. From their comments it looks like he wants to be at Duke. The other teams on his list doesn’t make sense to even go there because they have returning point guards and incoming point guards. I just can’t see him going to Memphis.

If true we are reloading nicely. And with experience returning. A Javin, Carey, Hurt, Moore Tre line up has me excited.
