As fun as it was to point and laugh at those ridiculous bumper stickers, its just another example of how their PR prowess has been light years ahead of us for at least a quarter of a century....

Like it or not the saying “No publicity is bad publicity” is true. It keeps your name in people’s minds.
He’s not an NFL QB. The $5million one year guaranteed deal with Northern Miss (and other legit NIL deals) would likely be more than what he could make in the NFL and it would set him up nicely for the rest of his life.
Honestly, why would we want Deuce Knight? I’d rather have the QB we have. Hate he went to UM but it’s better than Trinidad returning. Knight is very athletic but also very raw. We have a lot bigger needs. Needs that we’re not really addressing.
this time last year, they were anointing Austin Simmons as the next savior of UM. We see how that turned out. Knight is young and raw, and is a project. Simmons is a more polished QB than Knight, and Simmons is very average.

Honestly, I don't know why the NCAA denied his appeal in the first place. They're letting a lot more questionable guys play.
