Lost out on big pitching recruit

Dylan Cease out of Georgia committed to Vandy. Perfect Game said State was on his list but I couldn't find if he visited State. Tops out at 97. May not make it to college but Vandy has a history of getting high draft choices to go to college.
Kid said on his twitter that he committed to the "University of Vanderbilt". I guess that is like the "University of Ole Miss".

If there's anything you really can't ***** about right now, it's baseball recruiting. We have a Top 5 class that just got to campus (rankings should be coming out shortly). 2014 class is great too and has 2 potential draft picks for sure (Vallot, McCord).

Agreed. We are actually recruiting national prospects that don't have to visit our campus. Baseball recruiting will continue to stay at a high level. I'm not concerned at all.

Football recruiting.....

We're going to be on the lists of a ton of elite kids going forward...

That said, Vandy WILL get theirs in baseball... Elite academic school(baseball players care more about this than most) that has the best baseball scholarship situation in the SEC being a private school....
