He was so good for the game. Quirky, nerdy, energetic, loved the game.... Love him or not, he was AWESOME for the game IMO. RIP Lou, we are better for having you in the sport.

Did a fair job at No Carolina St did good job at Arkansas and Minnesota.

He was a builder, something we were told Rhule is.

Very good man that lived a very good life.

Strong motivator of young men that really cared about people.

While I despised him at Notre Dame (mostly due for simply despising Notre Dame), he was a strong contributor to college football for well over 5 decades.

RIP Coach. You'll be missed.

Small little guy with a Goliath personality. Stellar coach but greater human-being.

Need a little "ummph" in your life? Read Lou's "Winning Every Day" book. It still resonates today!

Not sure Jason Peter would agree with most of the posts. If you have time read Jason's book "Hero of the Underground" and read about the recruiting of his younger brother Damian by ND/Lou.

He was an excellent coach and a good man. Guys like him made the game fun and interesting win or lose.
