I think we will be OK against them. Having faced Auburn will help because they have a similar offense to Houston, except that they don't run it quite as much.

at best for us right now. We were "ok" against Auburn but we still lost. I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but just want to know what "ok" means to you in this context.

means that we should be able to score on them- we are bigger than they are, and we're going to be more physical than they are, and their defense is not all that great. And I think our defense is better than when we played them last year. We should win the battle in the trenches. We should win as long as we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties.

UTEP put some points on the board against them last night with a back-up QB. This is where Manny is going to earn his paycheck.

Plus, we've seen Auburn- a team with a similar offense, although they favor the run as opposed to the pass. But they are very similar in many ways in terms of tempo, play selection and things like that. I would be willing to bet that Houston beats a lot of people because they do some things that not a lot of people do, and consequently haven't seen. That won't be the case for us. And on top of that, Auburn is bigger and more physical, and probably about as fast.

Also, Keenum got nicked up last night- I'm not counting on him being out or anything, but it is something to watch right now.

The biggest thing that worries me is the fact that it is a road game and they do have an advantage at QB.
