I just thought it was a little disingenuous. Of course I've always disliked people trying to take credit for the work of others. At least have said "hey, this was the vision of Tom Jurich and we are so happy that we were able to finish his vision and make this a reality."

Defense really stepped up in the second half, and especially on that last sequence of plays. That sack was huge!!

Western deserved the win, oh well. My expectations didn’t change after last weeks monsoon, but it has now, we aren’t very good.

Lots of warts, but what concerns me more than anything is the lack of fire to start these games. It's almost as if they come in thinking all they have to do is just show up. It doesn't work like that at this level of football. WKU has a bunch of players who played with a ton of pride, heart, and they competed for 60 minutes. The Cards competed for 30 minutes while taking the first half off. We do that next weekend, the Cavs will destroy us.
