I was at the game and there were no 51,658 fans in the stadium. The 60,000 seat stadium was at least half empty! And it started empting at the middle of the third quarter!

The announced attendance of 51,658 Friday night was below a season-high 54,923 against Western Kentucky on Sept. 15. (from CJ)

I disagree, before the rain hit it was just as full as the FSU game. Not to mention the thousands running around the concourse.

UofL used to count actual butts through the gates as opposed to some other schools. Did this change with Tyra?
BTW, my guess is that there were about 45,000 - 50,000 at kickoff (i.e., around 10-15,000 less than capacity), so maybe the announced figure is not too far off. Anybody know for sure?

Can’t wait for the expansion, Setting so close together in a cramped space is getting old.

Anyone know how many other stadiums are expanding seating?

How many are decreasing seating?

See lots of empty seats in all stadiums every Saturday. Don’t think expansion is the route to go anymore

At five minutes to KO there were at least one empty seat for every occupied one.

The team ran out...and literally stopped in their tracks when they saw it.

It was absolutely pitiful.

The crowd too.
